What we collect

IntelScout collects the information you enter to build your recruiting profile: your name, graduation year, high school, positions, athletic measurables and statistics, highlight video links, social handles, and the schools and camps you track. We also store your account email for sign-in and your subscription status for billing. Purchases are processed by Apple; we use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We also collect app-usage events (for example, which screens and features are used) to understand and improve the product — this data is not sold and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Before you create an account

The onboarding questions you answer before signing up (graduation year, position, and the programs you like) are stored only on your device until you create an account. The one-time program preview is processed anonymously and is limited to a small, fixed set of featured programs.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist on our website, we store the email address you submit (and, where present, a tag indicating which link brought you there) solely to contact you about IntelScout's launch and availability. Email intelscout.app@gmail.com to be removed at any time.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, reminders (such as trial and camp reminders) are scheduled locally on your device. We do not collect a push token or send remote push notifications. You can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Public profile sharing

Profile sharing is off by default. If you turn it on, IntelScout creates a public link that displays a limited, safe subset of your profile (name, graduation year, high school, positions, measurables and statistics, highlight link, and social handles) to anyone who has the link. Your email, GPA, and coach contact details are never published. You can turn sharing off at any time, which removes the public page.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from inside the app at any time. Deletion removes your profile and all associated data from our database. Subscriptions are managed by Apple and must be cancelled separately in iOS Settings.

AI features

When you use the AI Agent, your profile and the school context are sent to our AI provider to generate a draft or analyze a screenshot you upload. Screenshots are processed in memory and are not stored.

Minors and parental involvement

IntelScout is intended for high school athletes (13 and older) and the parents or guardians who help manage their recruiting. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Parents and guardians may review, correct, or request deletion of their athlete's information using the in-app Delete Account flow or by emailing intelscout.app@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and your continued use of IntelScout after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
