What we collect

IntelScout collects the information you enter to build your recruiting profile: your name, graduation year, high school, positions, athletic measurables and statistics, highlight video links, social handles, and the schools and camps you track. We also store your account email for sign-in and your subscription status for billing. Purchases made in the iPhone app are processed by Apple, and RevenueCat manages that subscription status. Web membership and coaching-service payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status and order history. We also collect app-usage events (for example, which screens and features are used) to understand and improve the product — this data is not sold and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Before you create an account

The onboarding questions you answer before signing up (graduation year, position, and the programs you like) are stored only on your device until you create an account. The one-time program preview is processed anonymously and is limited to a small, fixed set of featured programs.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist on our website, we store the email address you submit (and, where present, a tag indicating which link brought you there) solely to contact you about IntelScout's launch and availability. Email intelscout.app@gmail.com to be removed at any time.

Find your fit

If you use Find your fit on our website, we store what you enter in the profile: name, email, an optional phone number, playing level, graduation year, home state, positions, height and weight, the measurables you choose to share (such as pitching velocity, exit velocity, pop time and 60-yard time), academic details, the divisions, states and budget you are considering, your priorities, any coach contacts you add, and a video link if you give one. We use it to show you a starting list of programs and so a person at IntelScout can follow up. It is not shown to anyone else and is not sold. A parent can complete the profile on a player's behalf. The starting list is a filter built from public rosters and listings, not a ranking or a promise of recruitment. Email intelscout.app@gmail.com with the email you used and we will delete the profile.

Services and the coach network

If you request a service on our website, we store your account email and the service you asked for. If you request an introduction to a coach, we store the parent's name, email, phone number (optional), and location, the player's graduation year and position, the levels you are considering, what you want help with, and your notes; with your consent, these details are shared with the coach James introduces. If a coach applies to join the network, we store the coach's own contact and professional details. James reads these requests and replies by email. When you create an account on the website, the parent or guardian name you give is stored on the account. The “Notify me” field for the 12-week program stores only the email address you enter, and we use it once, to tell you the program has opened.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, reminders (such as trial and camp reminders) are scheduled locally on your device. We do not collect a push token or send remote push notifications. You can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Public profile sharing

Profile sharing is off by default. If you turn it on, IntelScout creates a public link that displays a limited, safe subset of your profile (name, graduation year, high school, positions, measurables and statistics, highlight link, and social handles) to anyone who has the link. Your email, GPA, and coach contact details are never published. You can turn sharing off at any time, which removes the public page.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from inside the app at any time. Deletion removes your profile and all associated data from our database. A subscription bought in the iPhone app is managed by Apple and must be cancelled separately in iOS Settings. A membership bought on the website is cancelled when you delete your account, and unused time is not refunded.

AI features

When you use the AI Agent, your profile and the school context are sent to our AI provider to generate a draft or analyze a screenshot you upload. Screenshots are processed in memory and are not stored.

Minors and parental involvement

IntelScout is intended for high school athletes (13 and older) and the parents or guardians who help manage their recruiting. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Parents and guardians may review, correct, or request deletion of their athlete's information using the in-app Delete Account flow or by emailing intelscout.app@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and your continued use of IntelScout after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
